When Moammar Gadhafi was in power for 42 years, he held a tight rein on reading material especially books with homosexuality and religious books. Even detailed maps of the capital were banned because of the dictator's paranoia. The young people did not learn about the history of Libya as Moammar Gadhafi wanted the people to worship him and not know the famous Libyans.
Libyans are thirsty for a Gadhafi free education and culture. These books are now on display at an exhibition in Tripoli. By the way, they burned Moammar's green book-one they won't have to see again!
